The City of Prichard has entered into a transformative partnership with The P3 Group, Inc. to build two state-of-the-art sportsplex facilities featuring cutting-edge AI technology. These facilities will breathe new life into Pollard Park and the Prichard Municipal Stadium, turning them into premier destinations for sports, family recreation, and community pride.

Councilman George E. McCall, Jr. has been a driving force behind this vision. His leadership focuses on creating safe spaces for children, opportunities for families, and economic growth for the community. This project reflects his belief that when we invest in our youth and neighborhoods, we invest in the future of Prichard.

“This is about more than new facilities—it’s about giving our children a place to grow, our families a place to gather, and our city a chance to shine,” said Councilman McCall. “District 4 and all of Prichard deserve world-class spaces that inspire pride and possibility.”
 

The new sportsplexes will feature facilities for baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, pickleball, and football training, while also serving as inclusive venues for year-round community events. Each complex will integrate advanced AI systems for safety, efficiency, and programming, and will also house the City’s Parks & Recreation Department.
