Hello, I’m George E. McCall Jr., your City Councilman proudly serving District 4 in the City of Prichard.

For the past four years, I’ve worked tirelessly to transform how local government serves our people — not just with promises, but with real progress. I believe leadership should be visible, accessible, and most importantly, accountable to the people it represents.

My decision to run for re-election comes from one reason: we’re not finished yet.

Over the last four years, we’ve:

• ✅ Rebuilt roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems in neighborhoods across District 4
   
• ✅ Secured major federal ARA funding and put it directly to work for our community
   
• ✅ Restored and preserved key historic sites — including the Old Ella Grant School and St. James Catholic Church
   
• ✅ Strengthened first responder support with new training, updated gear, and greater accountability
   
• ✅ Launched community-policing initiatives to build trust between officers and neighbors
   
• ✅ Created tech-driven tools to increase government transparency, response time, and public engagement
   

This progress didn’t happen by accident. It came through focus, faith, and the belief that our city could — and should — work better for its residents.

District 4 deserves a leader who understands our challenges, listens to our voices, and delivers measurable results.

We’ve built strong momentum. Projects are underway. Partnerships are in place. Lives are being impacted.

But we cannot afford to stop now.

I’m running for re-election because I want to finish what we started — to make sure the systems we’ve built continue growing, serving, and lifting our community for generations to come.

This campaign isn’t about me. It’s about us.

It’s about every family waiting for a pothole to be filled, every grandparent needing better emergency response, every young person who deserves safe streets and real opportunity.

We’ve come a long way — and I’m asking for your support to go even further.

Because when we lead with integrity, when we serve with vision, and when we govern with heart — there’s nothing our community can’t achieve.
